Optitrack System, Heavy Duty Tank Robot, and More Arms

Pittsburgh, PA — $136 — Ends TODAY

While the v100 is a retired model, Optitrack still supports it. If the final price stays in this range, someone is going to get a hell of a deal on a system that sports the following specs:

  • Frame Rate: 100hz

  • Latency: 10ms

  • Accuracy: 2D sub millimeter, depending on marker size and distance to camera

  • Operating Range: 15cm - 6 meters, depending on marker size

  • LED Ring: IR @ 850nm, 30 LEDs 45 degree FOV, adjustable brightness, removable

Full disclosure: I’ve always wanted to setup a full optical tracking system in my workshop, and I might try to buy these.

Baton Rouge, LA — $200 — Ends Feb 10th

There isn’t much information on this bot, but it seems like SDR stands for Superdroid Robotics. While I’ve never heard of them, they seem to build a variety of pricey (for the enthusiast, but cheap for commercial / gov) high powered robots. From the product description of what seems to be the updated model:

The GRT-1000 is our largest tracked platform. It is fast, responsive, and easy to control. It uses 6" wide tracks driven by four powerful wheelchair motors, making this robot capable of hauling heavy loads and navigating difficult terrain. The chassis is made from steel, welded together to make it extremely robust. The chassis is then painted to protect from corrosion. 1" aluminum extruded rails are included on top of the chassis to make payload attachments easy. See the videos tab to watch what this robot is capable of.
