Turn your workshop into Factorio

Kuka, Mitsubishi, and Plastic Injection Molding Robots

Alright, we’ve got a pretty good haul today. Let’s start with what you’re all here for — the 10-pack of Kuka Agilus arms in what looks to be incredible shape (listing mentions low hours, probably academic), sitting at $20k. This includes pneumatic suction and clamp attachments that probably cost that much on their own. Someone please buy this and make a factorio conveyor lineup in your garage (or outfit a low throughput autonomous manufacturing or shipping line, your choice).

The listing breaks down this lot as 6 Series 2, 4x Agilus, 10 controllers, and 4 pendants. If your unfamiliar, you don’t actively need the teach pendants for each operating robot, and you can switch them between controller/robot pairs as needed for programming, manual control, and diagnostics. I’ve purchased equipment from C2 before, very above board folks. If you want someone to handle the logistics behind purchasing these and getting them delivered, hit me up on twitter/x.

Next we have some 6-axis Mitsubishi arms that have been floating around govdeals for a few months. They are big, heavy, and look to be used pretty heavily. But you can’t beat $100 (and it looks like they come with palletizing attachments). Link below, click on “seller’s other items” to see the other lots.

Looking for an arm with a larger work envelope? This Kuka KR 6-2 can handle 6kg with a 1.6m reach and 0.05mm repeatability, and was also used in an academic setting. These things are pretty modern and incredibly versatile. If I had the space, I’d be going for it. I also don’t recognize the attachment, so shoot me a message if you know. Seems to be some kind of nozzle attached to the final wrist DOF. Paint?

EDIT: I’m dumb, of course it’s welding. In my defense I’m a sad little software man.

Wittman Injection molding robot — I know very very little (nothing) about these guys other than the fact that they are extremely expensive new. Seems to be missing the enclosure if this video is anything to go by.
